"'kids" is a piece of sonic art - a pop gem - and is potentially the best album released in Knoxville last year.” - Blank Newspaper
20-year-old Willa Mae is in perpetual motion. Since the release of her debut album "Kids" at just 17-years-old, she has stirred the local attention of her hometown Knoxville, Tennessee. Her live shows gravitate towards a more rock-oriented sound, reminiscent of 90s grunge, but not without the unforgettable pop melodies of her past. Taking heavy inspiration from female rockers like The Breeders and Jessica Lea Mayfield, if Willa has something to say she's gonna say it. Since forming her band in 2021, they have been touring around the southeast opening for the likes of Annie Dirusso, Wednesday, Briston Maroney, and Liza Anne.
